Russell not invited

Ryan Russell didn't get the invite to the World Juniors. I was quite surprised, I thought he would've got an invite for sure. After scoring 32 goals as a 17 yr old and coming back the next year leading your team and staying i the top 5 of the league is pretty remarkable. 40 points so far in 33 games. I know offense isn't everything, but Ryans got it all, shot, speed, awesome penalty killer. Oh well, there's next year.

I can't see that, cause his brother, who is the same size, and is a defenceman got invited. And the size issue usually applies more to d-men. They probably figured they had enough scorers there

Yes its disapointing that he didn't get the call but I wasn't supprised. Next year will be his year I think. Look at the bright side, this is the first Christmas in a long time we will have most of our players in the lineup, except the U18 I think. It is alway a tough hall through the holidays so it will be a bonus to have all the star players.
