Mueller named to Team USA.

Everett Silvertips forward Peter Mueller was selected by USA Hockey to play for Team USA at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Vancouver, British Columbia from December 26 to January 5.

The Bloomington, Minnesota native is currently 2nd on the Silvertips in scoring with 11 goals and 16 assists in 27 points in 27 games in his first season in the WHL. Mueller is also ranked 4th in the WHL in Rookie Scoring and was named the WHL Player of the Week in late October. On the USA 22-man roster, Mueller is one of two 17 year olds to make the squad.

"We are very happy for Peter on making the US Junior National Team," mentions Silvertips Director of Hockey Operations and Head Coach, Kevin Constantine. "It is rare for a 17 year old to play on a World Junior team and it is quite an accomplishment for how young he is. We will be watching the World Junior Tournament very closely and wish Peter the best."

Silvertips vs. Prince George Cougars 12/6/2005 (Ivan Baranka Bobblehead Night)

Tuesday, December 6, 2005 is Ivan Baranka Bobblehead Night, and it is also $10.00 Tuesdays, all Green, Red, and Orange level seats are only $10.00

In order to accommodate as many fans as possible, the Silvertips have outlined the following procedures for the bobblehead doll giveaway nights. We are aware that the demand for the dolls may exceed the number of dolls available and the organization has tried to determine a way to distribute the dolls in a way that is fair for all of our loyal fans. Only 1,000 dolls of each player have been produced. Once the dolls have been distributed, they are gone.

• First 1,000 fans through the Main Gate (corner of Hewitt and Oakes Avenue) will receive a bobblehead doll ticket. The bearer of the ticket may exchange it for one bobblehead.

• One certificate will be issued per person no matter how many game tickets a fan may possess.

• Certificate must be redeemed at the day of the game. A bobblehead doll distribution center will be located near the View Lounge (outside section 115). Fans must redeem the certificate at the designated location prior to the start of the game.

• Main gates open one hour prior to the game. Bobblehead doll tickets will not be issued at any other location in the building.

• The Club Lounge which opens 1.5 hours prior to the game opening will NOT have bobblehead doll tickets issued at their private entrance. The Wall St. entrance will NOT have bobblehead doll tickets issued.

• Each bobblehead doll is individually boxed and protected with Styrofoam. We request that fans wait until they get home to open their bobblehead doll to help keep the Everett Events Center clean.

• The Silvertips will not be holding any dolls back for replacement purposes.

Everett Events Center to be smoke free

Voters pass I-901:
On Tuesday, November 8th, 2005, Washington voters chose clean air and overwhelmingly approved Initiative 901. The initiative amends the 1985 Clean Indoor Air Act and now requires that ALL work places be 100% smoke free.

This means that on December 8th, the Everett Events Center will become smoke free. There will be no smoking allowed on the grounds of the Everett Events Center.
