Everett, WA - The Everett Silvertips will hit the road this weekend as they battle the Vancouver Giants on Friday night in Vancouver, BC and the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday night in Spokane, WA. The Silvertips have won 3 of their last 4 games and are currently on a 2-game winning streak. The Silvertips are in 1st place in the US Division with a record a 17-13-1-0 (35 points).

SILVERTIPS LEADING SCORERS
John Lammers (14 goals, 16 assists) and Peter Mueller (12 goals, 18 assists) lead the team in scoring with 30 points. Lammers leads the Silvertips in goals with 14 while Mueller and Shaun Heshka lead the hockey club in assists with 18. Defenseman Shaun Heshka (5 goals, 18 assists) is 3rd on the team in scoring with 23 points. Zach Hamill (5 goals, 12 assists) is the team leader in plus/minus with a +7. In goal Leland Irving has recorded 16 wins and posted a 2.14 GAA and a 91.6% SP.

SILVERTIPS AMONG LEAGUE LEADERS
Silvertips goaltender Leland Irving is currently 3rd in the WHL in Wins (16), 5th in GAA (2.14), 10th in SP (91.6%). Silvertips defenseman Shaun Heshka is tied for 5th among all WHL D-men with 23 points and 5th in assists by a defensemen with 18. Forward Peter Mueller is ranked 3rd in the WHL in Rookie Scoring with 30 points and is tied for 3rd with John Lammers in short handed goals with 2.

SILVERTIPS SPECIAL TEAMS
The Silvertips are currently 9th in the WHL on the power play (31 for 173, 17.92%) and 7th in the WHL on the penalty kill (127 for 149, 85.23%).

MUELLER SELECTED TO US WORLD JUNIOR NATIONAL TEAM
Everett Silvertips forward Peter Mueller was selected by USA Hockey to play for Team USA at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Vancouver, British Columbia from December 26 to January 5. The Bloomington, Minnesota native is currently tied for 1st on the Silvertips in scoring with 12 goals and 18 assists with 30 points in 28 games in his first season in the WHL. Mueller is also ranked 3rd in the WHL in Rookie Scoring and was named the WHL Player of the Week in late October. On the USA 22-man roster, Mueller is one of two 17 year olds to make the squad.

SHOOTOUT SUCCESS
The Everett Silvertips are 4-0 in shootouts this season. Everett has scored 9 goals on 12 attempts in shootouts this season and goaltender Leland Irving has made 8 saves on 12 shootout shots.

WHEAT CLOSING IN ON 100th POINT PLATEAU AS A SILVERTIP
Silvertips forward Torrie Wheat has tallied a total of 121 points in his WHL career with the Swift Current Broncos and the Everett Silvertips. The Nanaimo, BC native has tallied 88 points as an Everett Silvertip and is 12 points away from reaching the 100 point plateau as a Silvertip. Wheat is also the all time leading scorer in Silvertips franchise history with 88 points.

VERSUS THE VANCOUVER GIANTS
The Silvertips are 2-0 against the Giants this season and 1-0 in Pacific Coliseum. The Silvertips are 5-7-0-2 all time against the Giants in franchise history and 2-4-0-1 all time at Pacific Coliseum.

VERSUS THE SPOKANE CHIEFS
The Silvertips are 2-2 this season against the Chiefs and 1-1 against Spokane at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. Overall the Silvertips are 13-8-1 all time against the Chiefs and 6-4-1 all time on the road against the Chiefs.
