I read that the 50/50 for the gold medal game at The World Juniors was a whopping $71,000.00. Not sure how true it was but imagine coming home from the game and saying " Honey, i won the 50/50 tonight so lets go pay off the mortgage.

My ticket didnt leave my sight until i left GM place after the game, i was only 2000 numbers off, closest i was for the whole tournament.

Oh well, probably won by a high society suit type guy who didnt really need it :D
