The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced on Friday that the team has officially dropped forward Alex Hudson from its 23-player protected list.

Hudson, who has not been with the team since the USHL’s holiday break, was dropped from the Storm roster for a release fee. Hudson is preparing to join the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League.
