Its nice to see a couple of Ice players this year, we have been shut out of this game for a long time. I think Stoll was the last Ice player to make the team.

Everett, Washington:
Silvertips forwards Brady Calla, Ondrej Fiala, Peter Mueller and goaltender Leland Irving have been chosen to play at the Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Ottawa, Ontario on Wednesday, January 18 at 4:00 p.m. (PST). It marks the first time that the Silvertips will be represented at the event. The Silvertips along with the Kingston Frontenacs (OHL) have the most players represented in the game with four

Brady Calla (6 goals, 17 assists) is currently 5th on the Silvertips in scoring with 23 points. The Kelowna, BC native also participated at the Canada/Russia Challenge for Team WHL in early December

Ondrej Fiala (8 goals, 7 assists) has recorded 15 points in 24 games for the Silvertips this season. Since coming back from an injury the Stenberk, Czech Republic native has tallied a goal in his last four games and posted 6 goals and added 2 assists in those four games

Peter Mueller (15 goals, 22 assists) is currently 2nd on the Silvertips in scoring and 2nd in the WHL in rookie scoring with 37 points. The Bloomington, Minnesota native just recently finished playing for Team USA at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Vancouver, BC. In 7 games for the United States, Mueller tallied 2 goals and added 4 assists in the tournament

Goaltender Leland Irving is currently ranked in the Top 5 in all goaltending categories in the WHL. Currently the Swan Hills, Alberta native is 3rd in the WHL in wins (21), 4th in Goals Against Average (2.01), tied for 2nd in Save Percentage (92.1%) and tied for 3rd in Shutouts (3).

The NHL's 30 teams select the 40 players who participate in the game. More than 375 players have suited up in the Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game and gone on to be selected in the NHL entry draft. The game has featured five players who were the first overall picks in the NHL entry draft χ Chris Phillips (1996), Joe Thornton (1997), Vincent Lecavalier (1998), Rick Nash (2002) and Marc-Andre Fleury (2003). Hockey Hall of Fame member Bobby Orr will renew his coaching rivalry with Don Cherry, the star of Hockey Night in Canada's Coach's Corner in this year’s event.

Yes very thrilled! Just wish this year's game was in Vancouver! It is a really great game to get to go to. Seeing the top talent in the CHL last year was very cool.
