The Swift Current Broncos have announced on Wednesday afternoon that forwards Andrew Wasmuth (19) and European forward Thomas Raffl (19) have been reassigned.

Wasmuth, who was in his 2nd season in Bronco blue, has been reassigned to the Melfort Mustangs of the SJHL.

Raffl started the season with the Kelowna Rockets before being dealt to the Broncos earlier this season. Raffl has been reassigned to the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL.

The Swift Current Broncos roster now stands at 22 players, consisting of 13 forwards, 7 defenseman, and 2 goaltenders.

Disappointed Raffl is gone, best interviews in the league. Dean must be making room for some younger players to step in. At least now Toulmin will see more ice time.

Definetly news to me regarding Raffl being reassigned. Does that mean we're going to pick up another Euro next year?

What is Dean thinking. Raffl was one of the hardest workers on the team. Could have been some others first.

Correct me if im wrong, but in order for Lelkes to come over wouldnt they have to end all ties with Raffl. I thought you were only able to have 2 euros listed on the 50 ppl

They want to take a step forward not a step back.

Hard Worker or not the guy wasn't putting up the numbers expected out of a 19 year old... let alone a eurpean.. he was a waste of a euro spot and a waste of a 19 year old spot IMO there are younger kids with alot more upside and talent to develop... Good Move Deano! (wasmuth too!)
