We've got Mueller, Calla, Fiala and Irving all out of the lineup heading to the prospects game. our starting 16-year-old 'tender tonite has all of 274 minutes under his belt in nine games. His backup is '89 born Chris Ward suiting up for his 1st Whl game ever, although he was named Top Goaltender in the Winnegoba AAA Midget City All-star Game...lol.

'90 born winger MAtt Ius will be suiting up in his 2nd WHL game (debut 12/09/05 at Vancouver ). He was the Silvertips 2nd round selection (30th overall) in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft.

Of the 11 first year WHLers to play tonight for the Tips, seven are 16-year-olds (Ius and Dailey just turned 16within the past month).

Tonight is the seventh of ten meetings between the two US Division rivals. The Silvertips are 4-1-1-0 against the Americans this season. Everett is also 3-0 vs. Tri-City at the Everett Events Center this season. The Silvertips are 11-11-3 (ties)-2 (OT losses) all time against the Americans in franchise history. City, February 26: @ Tri-City.

Looks like the key here for the Ams is Discipline.

I know some Ams fans that would say the key here is for Zalaski or Smith to not be reffing the game...lol. But 17 Power Play advantage in the previous 6 games...wow.
