Victor Bartley scored twice...including the game winner on a second-period two-man advantage...as the Blazers beat the Kelowna Rockets 4-1 on Saturday night at Interior Savings Centre.

Roman Tesliuk put the Blazers up 1-0 after one...only to have Blake Comeau tie it on a powerplay early in the second.

Bartley's first of two on the night came 5-and-a-half minutes later on a 5-on-3 to restore a 1-goal Blazer lead after 40 minutes.

Bartley's second of the game came with 7:16 to play as his centre-ice shoot-in went off Derek Yeomans' blocker and up and into the net for a 3-1 lead...with Ashton Rome adding an empty netter to close out the scoring.

Final shots were 26-25 Blazers...including 10-4 in the third. Devan Dubnyk picked up the win while Yeomans suffered the loss.

Both teams were 1-for-6 on the PP. www.blazerhockey.com
