Cody Gross, Daniel Lepp added for Moose Jaw Game


Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders have recalled 2 affiliated players to dress on Wednesday when they take on the Moose Jaw Warriors in Moose Jaw in Western Hockey League action. 16 year-old forwards Daniel Lepp and Cody Gross will be available for the Raiders tomorrow.


Brent Ottmann is out 2-3 weeks with a foot injury, while Kyle Chipchura remains day to day with a shoulder injury.


It is the second tour of duty for Gross who appeared in 4 games at Christmas with the Raiders when he picked up a goal and an assist. Gross, the Raiders 5th round pick in the 2004 Bantam Draft, currently is second in team scoring for the Winnipeg Thrashers of the Manitoba Major Midget League with 22 goals and 26 assists in 31 games, which has him 10th overall in league scoring.


For Lepp, the Raiders 3rd round pick in 2004, it will be his debut in a Raider uniform. Lepp plays for the Central Plains Capitals in the Manitoba Midget League where he has 7 goals, 7 assists and 121 minutes in penalties in 27 games. He is a 6'3", 180 pound right winger from Elm Creek, Manitoba.


Gross will wear #11 and Lepp will be in #27. They are expected to return to their Major Midget teams following tomorrow's game.
