The Saskatoon Blades this afternoon announced that they will add a truly retro feel to the February 4 game versus the Kamloops Blazers @ 7PM at Credit Union Centre. Trader Publications and Magic 98.3 present the Saskatoon Blades as they will once again resurrect the ever popular Pac-Man jersey.

This time around though the hockey cub will don the white home version of the jersey, the same which was worn during the team’s Memorial Cup appearance in 1989 by the likes of Kaminski, Scissons, Kocur, Struch and Christie just to name a few. The jerseys will be available for purchase by fans during a silent auction held during the game with proceeds going to the Saskatoon Blades Education Scholarship Fund. With the lucky purchasers receiving their jerseys in a special ceremony following the game.

The return of the Pac-Man highlights a busy 2 week span of games for the Bridge City Bunch beginning on Wednesday January 25th as the Regina Pats visit Credit Union Centre at 7PM. Join the Blades as they honor longtime Corporate Partner Dodge City in special pre-game ceremony. In addition fans will have a chance to dance their way to a brand new MP3 cell phone valued at over $400 courtesy of game presenter Sask Tel.

This weekend sees a pair of Eastern Conference front running teams visit Credit Union Centre beginning on Friday night as the Medicine Hat Tigers roar into town for PGI Printers night. Fans attending Friday’s game will receive a make your own Zamboni courtesy of PGI while in addition the Saskatoon City Police Service will be on hand for their annual Crimestoppers night with displays and events geared to educate the public about police work and the services they provide to our city
