The Hitmen really need a solid effort tonight. They were badly outplayed in Winnipeg on Wednesday but the game was close thanks to Pogge. Hopefully the Hitmen get some help from the Ice tonight as they play the Rebels.

Elsewhere tonight, the Brandon Wheat Kings (26-18-5-1) welcome the Calgary Hitmen (26-18-6-3) in the third meeting this week between the teams.

The Wheat Kings, who currently sit second in the East division, skated to a 2-1 win over the Hitmen in Winnipeg on Wednesday after beating them 3-2 in overtime in Calgary last Sunday. The Wheat Kings are 16-7-1 at home this season.

The Hitmen, who currently sit fourth in the Central division, are 6-4 in their last 10 outings, including back-to-back defeats to Brandon. The Hitmen are 12-14-1 on the road this season.

It's the fourth and final meeting between the teams this season. Brandon has a 2-0-1 lead in the season series through the first three encounters.

Papa Plante: 'Too slow, too tired, two kids to watch' (http://www.canada.com/calgary/calgaryherald/news/sports/hitmen/story.html?id=d8444085-7663-49f9-a701-903efd892fc1)

Cam Plante can envision the perfect evening.

His oldest boy, Tyler, starts in goal for the Brandon Wheat Kings.

The other son, Alex, takes a regular shift on the Calgary Hitmen's blue-line.

The dream could happen as early as today (6:30 p.m., The FAN 960 radio) when the Western Hockey League rivals meeting at the Keystone Centre.

And the ideal result?

"I think a 0-0 game wouldn't hurt anybody in that situation," Papa Plante says Thursday afternoon from his Brandon real estate office.

Of course, brothers being brothers, there are other variations.............

Nice little confiedence booster for the boys. Finally getting the monkey of their back with Brandon.

Yeo finally got it going on the back line. Glad to see him finally get some points.

What a huge win for the Hitmen last night! Why can't they play well every night? Pogge was solid again...although I would guess he is getting tonight off against the Pats. Nice to see Yeo pitch in with a couple of goals and even Andrew Ladd scored. They needed to win with both the Rebels and Tigers winning. Lets hope there is not a let down tonight and they blow the Pats out!
