Winger Bjorn Svensson will return to the Blades line-up tonight against Prince Albert after missing two games with suspected mononucleosis. Tests have proven negative, but mono can still show up at a later time. For now, he'll be cleared to play again. Svensson was also showing signs of fatigue after being worn-down representing his native Sweden in the World Junior Championships, although he did receive a lot of much-needed confidence with the experience.

With Svensson returning, coach Lorne Molleken will pair him with former linemates Zdenek Bahensky and rookie centreman Justin McCrae. The three players complement each other well, are fast and creative with the puck. Svensson plays a typical European style with good passing and puck movement. McCrae works hard every shift and is very skilled with the puck as well for a 16 year old with a lot of promise. Bahensky, a Czech import, is a very fiesty player with an excellent mix of speed, skill, and tenacity. His style is more of a blend of the other two for an interesting overall dynamic. As the third line on a deep Blades offense, it has the promising potential to make them even more potent.

In other news, Jeremy Colliton makes his return to the lineup for the Raiders tonight from an extended knee injury. He is sure to provide a boost to the Green & Gold, although it might take him awhile to find his groove again.

Ryan Cyr will get the start tonight for the Blades in net and Russel Monette is expected to start in Prince Albert. For any fans interested in taking a bus trip up to Prince Albert for tomorrow night contact the Blades Booster Club or visit them at their booth at tonight's game.
