He played 30 regular season games and 13 playoff games last year and this year he's still a rookie. How many games must you play to make it your rookie season?

I don't know if it is so much how many games played, as it is to do with age. I know in PG Nick Draz. played lots of games when he was a 15yo, but only because his regular team was out of the playoffs early. So that made his 16yo season his official rookie season. I'm not possitive, but it may be the same situation with Undershute.

I was under the impression a 15 y/o could only play 4 games a year in the dub, am I wrong?

isn't it 5?Anyways,once his midget team is out of the playoffs he is entitled to play as many games after that.Justin Palazzo for the Raiders joined the team after his was done and played part of the rest of the regular season and the playoffs as a 15 year old.

Just confirming;

the rule is 5 games, or more, if his midget club's season is over.

the 15 year old ruling does not apply as he is an 18 year old. Question still is why is he considered a rookie? What is the maximum amount of games you can play to be considered a rookie the following year???

I think it is the same for listed players as it is for 15yo's. If he were listed by Medicine Hat, but playing tierII somewhere, he could play up to 5 games as a call up, or more once his team is either out of playoff contention, or out of the playoffs all together.
