Upper Deck Issues Michael Wall Rookie Card
Everett Silvertips Press Release

Everett, WA - Trading card companies are always trying to get a leg up on their competition by being the first company to issue rookie cards of top prospects. Everett Silvertips fans are sure to agree with Upper Deck's selection to include former Tip goaltender Michael Wall in their recently released 2005-2006 SPx Hockey set.

Wall's card #207, depicts him in his Anaheim Mighty Ducks uniform while wearing his Silvertips goaltending mask.

Wall played two seasons for the Silvertips from 2003-2005 and currently holds most single season and career goaltending team records. Wall posted a 38-41-13 record with a 2.30 GAA, .922 SV% and 12 shutouts in 108 career WHL games. He signed with the Might Ducks on September 29, 2005 and was called up to the NHL on October 20th.

Bidding is insane for those cards now. I picked up a bunch in the past few weeks for $2-5 each. Now they are up to over $10 each.

It is all the same person bidding too! Wonder how many of them will be relisted when they don't pay!

These cards on Ebay are now going from anywhere from $12-over $40 each!

This is RIDICULOUS! It is all the same bidder too. Makes me wonder if they actually will pay for them.

I think the most I paid for one of mine was $9.99. I did pay more for the spectrum which is numbered to /25.

The whole thing is just out of hand in my opinion!!
