haven't heard/seen any updates of the first game of the home and home series against the Hurricanes. I, obviously didn't attend.Well, a basic summary of the game would be, in the first 30 seconds, Chapman had a major brain cramp, and sent Olafson in on a breakaway. From there, Red Deer totally outplayed Lethbridge until the dying seconds of the second period, when Cunning took a totally brainless penalty, and just tackled some guy at center ice for no reason, and Lethbridge scored on the ensuing powerplay early in the 3rd period. Poulter got us within one later on in the 3rd, and then Vandermeer went to hit a Lethbridge player in the corner, and accidentally hit his own player that was checking the same guy, flattening him, and the Lethbridge player scored on an easy wrap-a-round. Red Deer then totally outplayed Lethbridge for the remainder of the game, and scored one more to make it a one goal game, but Leclerc slammed the door on them the rest of the way. All in all, the Rebels dominated the entire game, doubling them in shots, but 2 brain-dead plays and one bad bounce did us in in the end.
