To be perfectly honest, I would have been happy with a split these two games. Sweeping the Giants back to back like this is truely amazing, especially when you take into consideration how they played against Portland two days earlier.

It appeared that the team took Brule out of the picture, and affectivly shut Fistric out when in the offensive zone.

Kudos have to be given for the Giants not giving up, even when down. They stuck with it and played hard right to the end, both games.

Don Hay must be left scratching his head a bit with knowing he has a very potent power play, but seeing they got scored on for 3 short handed goal. For once the COugs seem to have a bit of puck luck. Scotty was solid in both games, and the d-men didn't give up to many second/third shots.

THANK YOU Portland and Seattle for beating Kamloops this weekend! Now sitting three points up on the Blazers, with two games in hand, I hope the team can play the rest of the season out to the best they can, play it loose, and make some of their own luck the rest of the way. From the regular season stats I'm liking the Cats chances against the Giants in the first round. :groovy:
