------- Friday the 24th

the Calgary Hitmen may have won the fights.
But they got beat up on the scoreboard.
Regina goaltender Linden Rowat stopped 35 shots to earn his first career WHL shutout as the Pats blanked the Hitmen 4-0.
Officials handed out 12 fighting majors, including eight during a third-period line brawl in the chippy affair, as Calgary matched a season-high with its third straight loss.
Backup Daniel Spence fared a little better, surrendering Justin Bernhardt's 19th before the end of the period to give Regina a 4-0 lead after 40 minutes.

------- Saturday the 25th
Wheat City product Ryan White scored a pair of goals -- his 19th and 20th of the season -- to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-1 win in Manitoba.
Left winger Brodie Dupont, from nearby St. Lazare, Man., and Jeff Schultz (who was plus-four) also scored as the Hitmen snapped a three-game losing streak.
Backup goaltender Daniel Spence made 26 stops to pick up his ninth win of the campaign.

------- Sunday the 26th
The Calgary Hitmen left a third of their lineup on the bus last night in Moose Jaw.
But the players who were healthy enough to suit up came through with a spectacular effort.
Czech import Lukas Vantuch scored the game-winner with 8:02 left in the third period as the flu-ravaged Hitmen beat the Warriors 2-1.
The Hitmen improved to 45-17-2-0 and remain one point back of Central Division-leading Medicine Hat. The Tigers, who have a game in hand, visit the 'Dome Sunday afternoon.

With injured defencemen Dylan Yeo and Shaden Moore already out of the Calgary lineup, fellow blueliner Alex Plante and forwards Freddie Pettersson, Brett Sonne and Mike Reich were forced to miss last night's game with the flu.

Assistant coach Dave Lowry was the first one to come down with the flu, which spread like wildfire through the team bus yesterday.

Calgary is off until Friday and Kisio said the club would take at least one day off to try to nurse his lineup back to full strength.
