Ok here goes nothing!! I know there are fans from every team that read this board!
Everet is having a fundraiser for our in arena announcer, Dave Piland who is battling an aggressive form of brain cancer. He has level 4 glioblastoma. This fundraiser will include a set of special jeresy's the players will be wearing on March 18th against Vancouver.
Some Everett fans have decided to band together and see what else we can get to put in the auction (it will be held online via the Tips website), so I am asking the awesome fans of the WHL to see if their teams would be willing to donate team sets of cards, signed pucks of drafted players, or just a gift bag of team merchandise. All the money raised is going directly to the family!
I already have Calgary but that is the only team so far that I have gotten anything from.
