DEADLINE APPROACHING: Americans Unveil Loyalty Program for Season Ticket Holders
March 02, 2006
It’s hard to believe that the end of the 2005-06 WHL Regular Season is almost upon us…and what a season it has been! The team has been extremely competitive and we are poised for yet another exciting playoff run. We have enjoyed the emergence of players like Ian McDonald and Logan Stephenson and the continued solid play of netminder Carey Price.

And, for the first time in history, your Americans are locally owned and operated. Olie Kolzig, Stu Barnes, Bob Tory and Dennis Loman invested millions of dollars to keep the team in the Tri-Cities, signifying their commitment to the franchise -- and our regional community -- by signing a ten-year lease with the Toyota Center. Contrary to what you have heard from prior management groups, we believe that the Columbia Basin is an exceptional market for major junior hockey!

Off the ice, we continue to steadily increase the entertainment value of our games. New scoreboards have modernized our game presentation, and innovative game night promotions (like pink ice on KGH Breast Cancer Awareness night) have provided local charitable organizations a much-needed source of funds and showcased our team and community through significant regional publicity.

The purpose of this letter is twofold:

First, we invite you to join us for the upcoming WHL Playoffs. We make you an offer you simply cannot refuse –playoff tickets cost LESS per game than regular season tickets!

Second, we are pleased to unveil the “Americans Loyalty Savings Program.” In 2004, previous owners committed to maintaining your season ticket prices through the 2006-07 season. The Americans Loyalty Savings Program extends that offer through the 2008-09 season. Aside from slight increases in City facility fees, your base season ticket price will remain constant for up to three seasons! You choose your term, you choose your savings, it’s that simple.

To order your Playoff tickets and to take advantage of the Americans Loyalty Savings Program, please complete and return the order form no later than Saturday, March 18th, 2006. As always, feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Here to stay, here to play,
