You would have to believe he is the front runner. May not have as many points as boychuk but he is more of a complete player that has played on team not in the playoffs. Boychuks points come from yellowhorn, pess or someone else feeding him the puck. Brnadon has not had that luxury. after watching hi again last night he is the best player on the ice for the howmanyith straight game

Indeed, drop Brandon in where Boychuk is right now, and he would probably have 70 or more points. :thumb: On top of that, Sutter has carried the team on a lot of nights when not everyone is putting 100% into it, pretty impressive for a 16 year old.

chances are they will give rookie of the ear to mueller in everett or some 18-19 year old euro. personally i think rookie of the year should go to a 16 or 17 year old. not a 19 year old like matt ellison did back in 02/03. sutter should be the east's nominee though.
