Shoot Out Losses

Well, it had to happen.

In the last month of the regular season, the Hitmen not only lost for the first time via the Shoot-Out, but in two consecutive games too.

Blame Craig Lineker for last nights loss. Two lazy plays that led directly to partial breakaways, and goals, one lazy clearing attempt that led ultimately to a PP goal (with the help of the forwards abandoning the zone) and a stupid pass that led to an icing, and a goal.

Not to mention at least two incredibly stupid attempts to pass the puck up the middle that led to turnovers inside the defensive zone.

Medicine Hat played extremely well, but that game never should have gotten to a shootout, and Lineker just dealt our hopes of winning the division a crippling blow.
