Why do you even bother to complete this survey. You obviously never seen any positives in the season. And why are you so against Sutter getting ice time. He is by far and away our best, most consistent player. And i always hear you saying Brent doesnt give any other player opportunities. So please, elaborate on who these players are becasue it really isnt gonna matetr because none are as good as brandon. As for Vandermeer and Frere, everuone else is trying to find positives in the season and you come in and screw the whooe thing up my highlighting flaws in the team. WE KNOW THEY HAVE FLAWS.

you come in and screw the whooe thing up my highlighting flaws in the team. WE KNOW THEY HAVE FLAWS.Mapes was just trying to inject a little humor into the whole thing, no need to have a stroke. Brandon Sutter does in fact get the most ice time, because he is easily the most talented two-way player on the team, nothing negative about that. Vandermeer falls down a lot because that name on his back is like a bullseye to players on the other teams that grew up watching the WHL. And the Frere thing will drive you crazy if you don't laugh about it. I don't know if they keep track of the number of times a player ices the puck, but had Frere not been scratched the last month or so, and not played 3 or 4 shifts a game in the games he was in, he would have broken some sort of a WHL record (though he may be still close)

Thanks SecNDes for the backup...just trying to have some fun. It is obvious how much icetime Sutter gets...what he does with it has probably been one of the hightlights of the season...I know it is an issue with some of the players and parents...I don't want to or need to go any further with that...some posters agree some don't...I say who cares he is doing great no matter how odd they situation may seem to be...he's a great kid with an even brighter future...If I ruined it for you...sit back and laugh! Check out my other posts...lots of positives (not as many as SecNDes!)...I ranted with SND about Berube...he is doing just fine. Just having fun and likely stating the obvious...

ps. Chapman likely is second in the icing dep. don't ya think?

I dont understand why parents would complain about brandon's ice time. Anyone watching the game would see he is 100% worthy. And if it is one of the parents whose kid is either scratched or sees little ice time, im sorry for you. However if this team alloted equal ice time we would be so far down the standings it would be funny. Thats my two bits on the subject. No younger kid on this team could ever dream of being skillful as brandon, however i see poulter oneday becoming a serious threat.

I dont understand why parents would complain about brandon's ice time.Thats the funny thing about parents, they think their kid is the best and should get equal or better ice time, which is probably how they should think.

ps. Chapman likely is second in the icing dep. don't ya think?Maybe, but he is not even in the same league as Frere. :) He sure got burned by Dansereau and another guy one on one last night resulting in 2 goals, luckily it didn't cost us the game in the end.

okay guys, I understand we all have our own opinions but come on, do we really need to state "Most disappointing player, and Biggest Disappointment of the year overall" ?!
This is our team guys, these are our players we go out and cheer on week after week and now you come on here and state who you think is the worst?! They're a team, give them a break. They're the ones playing...not you.
Now instead of tearing each one apart and pointing out the players you dont overly appreciate lets just focus on cheering them on.
Not to mention "Best Shot at the NHL" are you all scouts on here too?!
Be proud of this team..not "disappointed" at certian players.

I think that you'll find that all the Rebels fans on here are all real die-hard fans who support the team fully. That doesn't mean that we can't have an opinion on who a disappointing player is. It is a hockey forum after all. I'm sure that you noticed that the vast majority of the catagories were positive ones.

And, no, we're not scouts but again we can have an opinion on who might have the best shot at an NHL career can we not?

Thanks for pointing out we're not players. :) Thats why I am a fan!!!

This is our team guys, these are our players we go out and cheer on week after week and now you come on here and state who you think is the worst?!In a word, yes. There have been players on the team this season who definately don't belong in Major Junior (Leslie) and players that many feel shouldn't play as crucial a role as they do (Chapman).

They're a team, give them a break. They're the ones playing...not you.I will go along with this, as soon as the games are FREE. The fans pay the team to put product on the ice, when the fans see glaring problems on the ice they are going to talk about them, it is human nature.

Not to mention "Best Shot at the NHL" are you all scouts on here too?! Its an OPINION poll... The opinions in the poll are probably not going to affect the outcome of the NHL entry draft. If you go back and look at the choices for "Best shot at the NHL", you will notice that you see Brandon Sutter's name there a lot more often than Eric Frere or Pierre-Paul Lamoureux. This isn't because "all the people are scouts on here", its because from watching all the players play all season, they have formed an opinion on the subject.
