It seems it is not only the fans that are worried about how the Warriors will do in the playoffs but now the critics have voiced their opinion as well. For the first time in a few weeks they have fallen out of the Chl top 10 rankings.
The Warriors have stumbled as of late and finally were able to break the all time Warrior record for most wins in a season. They can still end up with a 25 wins season if they can manage to pull out 2 tough wins this weekend coming up. They play the SC Broncos in SC and then finish out the season on home ice vs the Wheatkings. Both of these teams have been playing incredible hockey and are looking to make some noise in the playoffs themselves. These games are going to be no easy task at all. Brandon stormed back to beat the hot Bronco's just last night after Rakos gave the Broncos a 3-0 lead in the first period only to have it fall short in a 7-4 loss. Having a lead like that slip away won't sit well with that team and they will come our fired up this weekend looking to finish the season on a positive note heading into the playoffs.
The Warriors right now are a little banged up but news looks to be good heading into playoffs. As it sits now the Warriors are without sophmore great Ryley Holzapfel who started the season off slow but has had a fantastic second half. They are also without the services of Matthew Hanson and Martin Grundling. Hanson came to the Warriors in a trade that sent Warrior backup goalie to Red Deer to finish out his Whl career and 19 year old Jordan Henry. Hanson has arguably been the Warriors top defensemen since coming over from RD. He has scored at a PPG race and has a plus 20 in just 24 games with the tribe. Currently he suffers from mono but is expected to return in the next few days and start skating by this weekend. Martin Grundling another one of the Warriors top blueliners has been out with a broken arm. He has had a cast on the arm for a few weeks now and is ready to get fitted with a playing cast so he can return in time for the playoffs as well.

The Warriors appear to be heading into this weekend short but with guys on the mend we could be back to a full lineup come playoff time.

No worries, we've all seen what this team can do. We lose three in a row and everybody starts saying these things. I don't want to make excuses for our recent poor play, but it seems that we are trying to rest up before the playoffs. The teams we have played and lost to this last week are all teams that were fighting for something. Regina, is fighting for 2nd place, Brandon was fighting for the playoffs and Swift Current too. We all know our guys are better than the way they've been playing.

Dont be suprised if the Warriors are watching the playoffs on WHL live stream in 2 weeks!!!Brandon is playing very well, and I wouldn't be suprised if it looked like last years playoffs (4-1 Brandon for those who dont remember)
