Anyone have any comments on Edmonton getting another Franchise?

Edmonton ? did receive a conditional franchise and what conditional means, i'm not sure.

But to answer your question, I think its great. Swift goes back to the East, where they should be, Kootenay moves to the Central, which is the closest divisional place they should be and one can only guess at what kind of rivalries there will be between Cgy, Edm and the Rebels. I think it will also help in scheduling, as there is another team they can book for week night games that the travel team still gets home early enough for the kids in school.

the question is; can the system supply a good or decent caliber of players to support 22 major junior teams. We have noticed a decline in the talent level with 20 teams.

I wonder about the talent level as well, and if the 16 yr olds are limited in the coming years, how much more will that water it down?
