ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE finished the 2005-2006 season with a 45-23-1-3 record (27-7-0-2 at home, 18-16-1-1 on the road, 3-1 in overtime, 2-3 in shootout)…KOOTENAY finished in third place in the BC DIVISION and sixth overall in the WESTERN HOCKEY LEAGUE…The ICE have clinched a playoff spot for the eighth consecutive season…The first two home playoff games for KOOTENAY are Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 29…Game time both nights is 7:00 pm.



CONCORD PACIFIC HOCKEY CARD NIGHT: 2005-2006 Hockey Card Sets will be distributed at the first home playoff game (Tuesday, March 28), compliments of CONCORD PACIFIC.



DID YOU KNOW: The ICE tied the franchise record for the most 20 or more goal scorers in the regular season (seven) which was set during the 2000-2001 season (CRACKNELL - 42, RUSSELL - 33, MAXWELL – 28, MAHOVSKY - 22, BILLSTEN – 22, DASILVA – 21 and LEE - 20)…The ICE set a franchise record for most shutouts on the road with eight (previous record was six set during the 2004-2005 season)…KOOTENAY has recorded 40 wins or more for the fourth time in franchise history…The ICE have played in the fewest shootouts in the League…ADAM CRACKNELL tied a franchise record for most points in a game with seven (TYLER BEECHEY – 3G, 4A – January 26, 2001 vs. MEDICINE HAT) March 18 versus SPOKANE…TAYLOR DAKERS recorded his eighth shutout of the season (23 saves) March 15 in KELOWNA.



SCORING STREAK: BEN MAXWELL (7-8-15 in span) has recorded at least one point in each of his last eight games.
