Goes to the drunk Tiger fan sitting in section A. The whole game he was acting like a jerk chanting on the Broncos and making gester's to fans in the suites. When he realized he was going to get no response from the Bronco fans around him he started yelling at the top of his lungs about Tidball. A fan along the top of the rail finally yelled at him to say it to Brandons face. The Tiger fan went to the top of the rail to talk to this fan about Tidball. After a little discussion at the top of the rail about Tidball, the Bronco fan said to him, "here say it to his face he's standing right here". The Tiger fan looked and standing right there was Tidball. The Tiger fans mouth dropped and he raced back to his seat. He returned to egging on the Bronco fans in section A and finally some of them had enough, went to the Canadian Room in between periods and the scrap was on. The Tiger fan got the throw out. Just curious if he didn't know Brandon was suspended or he was so drunk he never thought he would be standing near Section A.

but with my stupid luck I didn't make the trip (caught a flu virus on Mon.). So once again I miss out on a great game (for us). I would have liked to have met Mr. Tidball, and the other great Bronco fans. Maybe next year??

Yeah saw the guy from across the rink. WOW, what else can i say? We were joking that he must of had turets and had to leave cause of a seizure (everytime we looked over he was flailing his arms up and down). Glad he finally got the boot in the second int.

Why is it that with MEdicine Hat Fans, none of this is suprising. Your team would get a whole lot more respect from opposing fans if it werent for those that followed the team. For 3 years against red deer, they would show up in two buses just plastered. So basically you dont drink much of our beer, you annoy all our fans, so there is no reason for us to like any of you. When Calgary's fans come to town, they spend money in our building, they cheer their team but are respectful, we like calgary fans. Medicine Hat fans all in all are an embarasment to fans in the WHL. Their loud, but most of the time are drunk when doing so. I am painting all fans of medicine hat this way because even when you go to their barn you get no respect. ITs hard to single out the good ones becasue their arent many.

But on this night anyway, the majority were well behaved. This jerk was the worst of the bunch and was lucky he didn't lose some teeth by fans on both sides. The only thing that saved him in the scuffle by section J was the RCMP were standing close by. The only other thing I wasn't crazy about was sideshow running around the rink with the flag rubbing our noses in the loss. I know a few people that wanted to trip him up coming down the stairs. It's one thing to do it in the section most tiger fans were sitting and another to have the run of the rink. I know sideshow is harmless and enthusiastic but it's classless to rub things in in our barn.

I would have to say that it is actually exactly the opposite of what you describe. I have been to pretty much every playoff game since the inception of the Rebels, and though I don't remember them in the early days (few came to the centrium during the 9 or so year playoff drought) I have thought of them as one of the better visiting fans in the league since they turned the team around a few years ago and started showing up for road games. I will say that a good number of them are over-exuberant during the playoffs--I would probably be too if we missed the playoffs for a decade. Only fans I can recall every showing up to the game completely plastered, and causing trouble was Lethbridge many years ago, but I haven't even seen that from them for quite a few years.

I agree about sideshow. And there was an idiot in section Q that gave the idiot that scout was talking about a run for his money.

Sounds like you been to the old C.C. for some games. Sometime let us know when your in town for a game and maybe some of us can hook up and put a face to the poster. I don't paint all Tiger fans with the same brush and most are awesome. After the drought you guys been thru i would probably be doing the same.

My dad took me there probably 20 years ago when I was just a lad to see a game. I hadn't been there since last night. But I had a hell of a time. I love old hockey rinks.

I'll be making a few trips to swift next year whether the tigs are playing or not. I'll let you know when I make the trip. The beer's on me.

Hahahahaha.....that is funny...Wish i would of been there to see it.
I was going to go to tonights game...but had a "change of plans" at the last minute.

I did though go to 2 games earlier in the year, and have managed to see at least 1-2 games for quite a few years.

Too funny. It was great to see, I was very close to it all and although I don't agree with fighting in the stands he got what he was asking for.
He was going on and on with his stupid"Humbolt Broncos" chant saying that we belonged in the SJHL. A true classless clown.

I'd also like to give an honourable mention to the ********* that pulled the fire alarm again last night after the game. Three years in a row, that's something to be proud of.

Don't jump to too much conclusion on that one. I was told that it wasn't a hat fan it was one of the camera guys who bumped it with his equipment. Just what i heard don't know if its true or not.

U can thank a buddy of mine for dummying that loser.. I guess it started "tigerfan" was beaking buddy and buddy was ignoring him but tiger fan kept going so buddy started beaking back and finally took matters into his own hand... And in true hockey tilt style.. Huge edge Bronco fan.

Can you give details as to what happened? I saw the one in section A the game before but only heard lots about over in Q. Was it kid or an adult from Med Hat? Also was this the same guy giving the kids a hard time and what exactly was he saying to have your buddy blow his cool? Did they go at it in the stands and if so who stopped it?

I also know the guy that that took matters into in own hands and "dummy-ed" him. He sat and listened to this clown for two periods, the tiger guy was paying zero attention to the game. At the second intermission they met at the top by the enterance to the Canadian room and from what I was told he bumped the Bronco fan into the 50-50 stand, some words were exchanged, the Tiger guy got tossed, popped a couple times and escorted from the rink by the RCMP. Just a guess but I would say the guy from the Hat would have been 33-35.
