ICE NAME SALVADOR TOP PLAYOFF PERFORMER
Cranbrook, BC – The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club announced today that Forward Ben Maxwell has been named the Salvador Ready Mix Top Playoff Performer for the 2006 WHL Playoffs.
Ben, who had a plus one rating during the six game series, recorded three goals and five assists during the playoffs while recording no penalty minutes.
Maxwell, along with Kris Lazaruk, has been named to the World Under-18 Team and will compete in Angelholm and Halstad, Sweden from April 12 to 22 in the 2006 IIHF World Under-18 Championship.
The ICE would like to congratulate Ben and thank Salvador Ready Mix for their sponsorship of the Top Playoff Performer Award.
