Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Prince Albert Education Advisor Bob Twyver has been selected to be the Education Advisor for the Canadian entry at the upcoming World Under 18 Hockey Championships April 12 - 22nd in Angelholm and Holmstead, Sweden. Twyver is currently en route to Sweden.

Twyver has been involved with the Prince Albert Raider organization since 2001, serving as Education Advisor since 2003.

Hockey Canada selected him to accompany Team Canada to assist the Educational progression of the Canadian players attending the tournament.

This will mark the fifth time that Canada has participated in this World Championship event, having won a gold medal in 2003, and won a silver medal last year in the Czech Republic.

Canada annually operates two separate Under 18 programs: one in August, known as the 'summer Under 18 team/program', which is made up of the top Canadian born players of that particular age group, and this World Championship event in April, made up of Canadian born players that have either been eliminated or not participating in their club team's playoffs.
