Wall suspended: Everett goaltender Michael Wall received a one-game suspension from the Western Hockey League for using his blocker as a weapon during a fracas toward the end of Saturday's game against Seattle. Wall will serve the suspension during Wednesday's home game against Kelowna.

Chris Ward, the Silvertips' fourth-round selection in the 2004 Bantam Draft who currently plays for the Warriors in the Winnipeg AAA Midget Hockey League, will serve as Leland Irving's backup on Wednesday.

Leland is a fine young man and will do just fine in the net ... The Silvertips have a dandy tender in Mr.Irving .

Yes. Despite the fact wall has only allowed one goal in his last three games, I am one of those fans that beleive Irving should be the starter THIS year. Heck we've got 7 16-year-olds and 9 rookies. I just think it would be nice if we could get all the growing pains out of the way this year and be that much stronger next year.

Irving isn't getting the respect he deserves. he has that "16-year-old" label following him EVERYWHERE, and he should be the starter. better goalie hands down. he's been on his game... when he plays... that is. Wall just isn't consistant.

::thinks back to Harvey... sigh::
