Silvertips Forward Recognized by WHL
Everett WA: Silvertips forward Peter Mueller was named the Greyhound WHL Player of the Week earlier today. The Bloomington, Minnesota native tallied 3 goals and 2 assists in two games last weekend against the Kelowna Rockets in games one and two of the Western Conference Semi-Final series. Currently the series is even at 1-1 with Game #3 taking place at the Everett Events Center on Tuesday, April 11.

Mueller is currently tied for 1st on the Silvertips hockey club in playoff scoring with 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points. Mueller also leads the Silvertips in goals scored with 4. This is the second time Mueller has received the WHL Player of the Week award. The Silvertips forward also received player of the week honors in October during the 2005-2006 regular season.

The Silvertips will continue their 2nd round series against the Kelowna Rockets on Tuesday, April 11 at the Everett Events Center at 7:05 p.m. for Game #3. MUELLER NAMED GREYHOUND WHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - 2006 PLAYOFF EDITION

Calgary - The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Peter Mueller of the Everett Silvertips. Mueller earned player of the week honours by scoring three goals and five points in the first two games of the WHL KalTire Western Conference Semi-Final best-of-seven series against the Kelowna Rockets. The series is tied 1-1.

Games 3 and 4 of the series continue Tuesday and Wednesday in Everett. Game time for both games is 7:05 PM.

On Friday, April 7, Mueller scored two goals and added an assist in a 5-3 road win in Game 1 at Kelowna.

On Sunday, April 9th, Mueller recorded a power-play goal and added an assist in a 3-2 road loss in Game 2.

Mueller, a 17-year-old native of Bloomington, Minnesota, is eligible for the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Honourable mention goes to Anton Khudobin of the Saskatoon Blades for his 80 save performance on Saturday night against the Medicine Hat Tigers.
