GAME #2 RECAP
Rockets Defenseman Colin Joe tallied his first career WHL goal in the 3rd period to help lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 3-2 win over the Everett Silvertips in Game #2 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals on Sunday, April 9 at Prospera Place in Kelowna, BC. With the win, the Rockets even up the best-of-seven series at one game a piece. John Lammers and Peter Mueller added a goal and an assist in a losing cause. The Silvertips out shot the Rockets by a margin of 27-20 in the hockey game. Everett went 2 for 5 on the power play and Kelowna went 0 for 3 on the extra man advantage.

SILVERTIPS LEADING SCORERS IN 2005-2006
John Lammers (38 goals, 37 assists) led the Silvertips in scoring this season with 75 points. The Langley, BC native also led the Silvertips in Goals (38), Power Play Goals (16), Short Handed Goals (4) and tied for 1st in Game Winning Goals (6). Forward Zach Hamill (21 goals, 38 assists) and defenseman Shaun Heshka (10 goals, 49 assists) finished tied for 2nd on the team in scoring with 59 points. Hamill led the team in +/- with a +18 while Heshka led the club in assists with 49 helpers. Silvertips first year forward
Peter Mueller (26 goals, 32 assists) led all Silvertips first year players in scoring with 58 points. The Bloomington, Minnesota native also finished 2nd on the hockey club in goals scored with 26. In goal, Leland Irving posted 37 victories this season and recorded a 1.92 Goals Against Average and a .926% Save Percentage with 4 Shutouts.

SILVERTIPS PLAYOFF SCORING LEADERS
Defenseman Shaun Heshka (3 goals, 6 assists) leads the Silvertips in playoff scoring with 9 points. The Melville, SK native is also tied for 1st on the team in assists (6). Peter Mueller (4 goals, 4 assists), is 2nd on the team in playoff scoring with 8 points. Mueller also leads the Silvertips in goals scored with (4). In goal, Leland Irving has recorded 5 wins, 1.43 GAA, .939% SP and 2 Shutouts during the playoffs.

SILVERTIPS AND ROCKETS REGULAR SEASON SERIES RUNDOWN
This will be the second time in franchise history the Everett Silvertips will battle the Kelowna Rockets in a playoff series. The Silvertips and Rockets met in the 2004 Western Conference Finals in the Silvertips inaugural season. Everett upset the Rockets 4-3 in the seven game series. During the 2005-2006 regular season, the Silvertips posted a 1-3 record against the Rockets this season. Everett went 1-1 against Kelowna at the Everett Events Center this season and 0-2 at Prospera Place in Kelowna, BC. The Silvertips are 5-5-1 (Tie)-1 (OTL) all time against Kelowna in the regular season (3-2-1(tie) all time @ Everett, 2-3-1(OTL) all time @ Kelowna). In the four game season series, Rockets forward Justin Keller led the Rockets in scoring against Everett with 3 goals and 3 assists. Goaltender Derek Yeomans went 3-0 against the Silvertips and posted a 1.00 GAA, .962% SP and 1 Shutout. Silvertips forward Ondrej Fiala led the Silvertips in scoring against the Rockets with 2 goals and 2 assists. Torrie Wheat played in one game against Kelowna this season and tallied 3 goals in his only game played against the Rockets. In goal, Leland Irving went 1-3 against Kelowna with a 2.42 GAA and a .897% SP.

SILVERTIPS VS. ROCKETS SPECIAL TEAMS RUNDOWN
The Silvertips went 3 for 29 on the power play against the Rockets this season while Kelowna went 4 for 20 against the Silvertips on the extra man advantage. The Silvertips finished the 2005-2006 season 4th on the power play (81 of 420, 19.30%) and 5th on the penalty kill (295 of 343, 86.00%). The Silvertips are 7-3 all time in franchise history in playoff overtime. Everett is currently 1-0 in the extra session in the 2006 WHL Playoffs.
