Hey btw are the Giants practicing at home before flying off? I would like to watch a practice and posibly gte the players who didn't sign a practice helmet I got at the beginning of the year to sign it. Missing Slade, Brule and Fistric

I work at UBC and have an evening class tonight...so it would be a trip out to the airport then back to UBC. But I think that I'm going to do it.

It's a charter right so probably getting into the south terminal?

It was pretty cool. LOTS of media on hand. I would have guessed Global and the 2 sports radio stations. But there was Global, CBC, 2 radio stations, writters from both papers and another camera crew that I had no clue where they were from.

Bonners were first off of the plane, followed by Hay and Toigo.

I believe it was Brule first of the players off, but the media people were pushing people to the outside.

The players were pretty good. They stopped to sign stuff and talk for a bit. Fistric, Brule, Bartley and Slade stopped outside of the airport doors to hoist the cup for pictures.

You could tell that they were all tired but happy. Going for a dinner together then some needed sleep.

The players seemed very tired. Not very talkative. Either way it wasn't bad except for all the damn media. I think Beaner and I got asked twice to comment on the Giants for the news. :spineyes:

Yeah, they looked exhausted.

Silly bandwagon media. Didnt know when the Giants played during the regular season, now they all show up.
