The Burnaby Express are in the Finals for the Royal Bank Cup, the Junior A nationwide Championship.

Came back the other night when down by 2-0 with 2 mins left to win 3-2 in overtime.

They are facing the Yorktown Terriers, the West rep, for the Championship.

Kyle Turris (YOB: '89), drafted by the Giants, #41-2004, leads all Express scorers in the Championship, with 4g 5a in 5 games.

that was pretty cool to watch, even though i was disappointed i couldn't see it live, at least i avoided all possible TV/radio/internet spoilers. :P

i saw those guys against Chilliwack back in the second round of the playoffs, and really enjoyed watching them. i wanted to go to a home game or two of theirs, but never got around to it. hopefully i'll go to a handful next year, seeing as i'll be living in Burnaby then. :D
