Devan Dubnyk
The Edmonton Oilers have signed goaltender Devan Dubnyk to a three-year NHL entry level contract.

Dubnyk, the Oilers' first choice, 14th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, completed his fifth season with the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League. The 6'5", 195 pound, native of Regina, Saskatchewan was 27-26-0 in 54 games for the Blazers, posting a 2.54 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage with one shutout. He ranked ninth in the WHL in both wins and goals-against average and was 12th in save percentage. Dubnyk recorded 20-or-more wins in his last three seasons with Kamloops, including a single-season career-high 27 in 2005-06.

The 20-year-old netminder appeared in 193 career games with Kamloops from 2001-02 to 2005-06 with a 2.70 goals-against average, 15 shutouts and a record of 83-87-13. He made two playoff appearances with the Blazers in 2004 and 2005 and was 3-7 with a 3.36 goals-against average in 10 games.

The 2003-04 Canadian Hockey League and Western Hockey League Scholastic Player of the Year, Dubnyk was a member of the gold medal winning Canadian National Junior Team at the 2006 IIHF World Junior Championship in Vancouver.
