Amazing thing to watch, especially while Joey Moss is belting out the anthem

Joey Moss is a bench assistant with the Edmonton Oilers.

He has down syndrome.

He has been with the oilers for around 20yrs now, he was originally brought to the team by Wayne Gretzky. Gretzky was dating Moss' sister at the time and figured he would ask Joey if he wanted to give the team a hand. He has been with the team ever since.

Its really an amazing story, google it and read it, its more then worth reading.

I'll second that, Joey Moss has been featured in Reader's Digest within the past couple of years, and it was a fantastic story.

Glad you guys have national pride. Try that here and get funny looks from people, like you have to be silent during the national anthem.

Yeah it was great watching Joey Moss literally belting out the anthem - that gave me chills in a good way.

That's also something the playoff crowd in Vancouver does and possibly started (although not usre) but I do remember our anthem singer stopping and allowing the crowd to carry it home.
