+ Enlarge Red Deer, AB - The Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club announced today that they have traded defenceman Jonathon Smith to the Tri-City Americans for a 6th round selection in the 2007 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. Smith, a native of Sterling, Alaska, appeared in 46 games for the Rebels last season. The 19-year-old rookie had one goal and 3 assists and added 60 PIM on the Red Deer blue line.
