Goalie selected by Chilliwack Bruins
Seattle, June 2, 2006 - The Seattle Thunderbirds today announced that goalie Andrew Pinsent was selected by the Chilliwack Bruins in the 2006 WHL Expansion Draft.

The Bruins are the WHL’s newest member club and will begin play in the 2006-07 season. The Bruins will be in the B.C. Division.

Pinsent played four games in net with the T-Birds in 2005-06. He had a 1-2-0 record and played 132 minutes. Pinsent made 49 saves on 56 shots for a save percentage of .897 and had a goals against average of 3.18.

Pinsent was a third round selection, 52nd overall, in the 2003 Bantam Draft by the T-Birds.

The T-Birds begin Training Camp with their rookie camp on August 24 at Kingsgate Ice Arena in Kirkland, Washington. The main camp starts on August 26.
