Created: Jun 8, 2006

+ Enlarge Colorado Springs, Colorado – Fourteen players from the gold medal-winning 2006 U.S. National Under-18 Team are among the group of 45 players invited to the 2006 U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp in Lake Placid, N.Y., coming up August 5-to-14.

Included in the group of 45 are Everett Silvertips forward Peter Mueller from Bloomington, Minnesota and Portland Winter Hawks defenceman Michael Sauer of Sartell, Minnesota.

Mueller, 18, is a projected top 10 selection in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft in Vancouver, later this month. Sauer, 19, was selected in the 2nd Round, 40th overall, by the New York Rangers in the 2005 Draft.

Participating players are candidates for the 2006 U.S. National Junior Team that will compete in the 2007 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, December 26th, 2006 - January 5th, 2007, in Mora and Leksand, Sweden.

Good luck to both of them at the camp.
