Raiders Announce Tentative 2006-07 Schedule

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders are pleased to announce their tentative 2006-07 Western Hockey League schedule after meetings yesterday in Calgary for Eastern Conference teams.

The Raiders will play 22 of their 36 home games on weekends with 11 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 6 Sundays in the schedule.

The Swift Current Broncos move to the Eastern Division this season, so the Raiders will play the Broncos, Regina Pats, Moose Jaw Warriors and Brandon Wheat Kings 8 times, while they continue to face off against rival Saskatoon Blades 10 times.

This season the Raiders will travel to teams in the British Columbia Division, while Raider fans will get to see the teams from the United States Division at the Art Hauser Centre.

The WHL advises this schedule is tentative and subject to change. The league will finalize the entire schedule in early August.

No offence to S.C but I'm tired of seeing MJ,and S.C here for the home opener. There should be no better way to open the season than with a home and home with the Blades.Thats a way to open the season. Not this one in Saskatoon and one against Swift.Thats dumb.

I know it's subject to change but it won't.
