some former Blades had good years in the NHL last year, leafs fans remember Garnett Exelbys blow to Mats Sundin, Darcy Hordichuk does what he does best in the penelty box, Michael Garnett started a few games with the Napolien dynomyte mask, and last years Blades captain Miek Green won the Calder cup with the hershey bears and was called up by Washington to score his first NhL goal not to far after but who do you think had the best year out of the former blades?

out of those players that GOBLADESGO#3 selected i believe that Darcy hordichuk played the best and had the most impact on his team. Mike Green did good with hershey but Hordichuk is playing at a higher level. Most teams have enough scoring power and they need physical power and that what Hordichuk provided The Predeters. Garrnett Exelby provided physical power too but hordichuk posted points occationly.

all the guys you mentioned are different players with different styles. x is a punishing physical defenseman. the kind of dman every team wants and other teams hate to play against.

hordy is a physical player, heart, soul, and energy, good in the locker room type of guy. he's not a goon though, in today's game you can't just be a fighter you also have to be able to play a regular shift. there's little room on the bench for a one dimensional player.

garnett was the goalie five years ago for the blades, a team that almost upset a very strong brandon team in the playoffs. i remember that series for an awesome ryan keller overtime game winning goal. that was also the first time we got to see current blades stars like rabbit and barnes.

greener is the most skilled out of these four. and could turn out to be the best pro in the bunch. i would be surprised if he didn't make the capitals this season.
