If Wuchterl concussion allows he could be in there but , I don,t think it will happen. If Bryce(19) and Matlock(18) have good camps they may take out some of the younger talent.

I think Fadden was the visiting team player I was most impressed with last season of any player. You don't see him on the first line next year?

When I look at the forwards, I am not sure we will really have a first line, the balance of speed , playmakers, and tenacious checkers, and aggitators is fairly even throughour, so I could see any one of the top 12 playing on any given night on another line depending on injuries and chemistry.

is his WHL career over due to concussions?

Nothing lately , he is still listed on our roster on the web site, not sure if that is being done in case or whether it is so that he remains eligable for another year for scholarship purposes. I hope he is back , but a while back there was an article on the Hurricane website intimating that his career might be done. We are still losing too many players for games and careers due to head injuries. Wish I had the answer as to how we stop them, without taking contact out of the game .

It also sounds like the 'Canes will be taking a harder stance on players making demands and asking for trades. The philosophy of play for us or not at all, will be a welcome change.
