Jon Blum News!!

John Blum Sr. gave me the following news on Jon. I believe that the offical roster announcement is sometime this week. Given the way USA hockey structures their program, I would say this is quite the feat for the dub players! He was told that he will be getting a lot of ice time and will the the PP quaterback.

"He was selected to be on the U-18 team that leaves for Europe on 8-02-06. Shane Harper from Everett also made the team. A total of 2 WHL and 1 OHL kids selected, about par for the course for USA Hockey."

Jon got an assist and the game winning OT goal for Team USA on August 10th, vs. the Czechs.

Finished with a silver medal in a 3-0 loss to team Canada today in the Gold Medal game.
