Saskatoon, SK: The Saskatoon Blades announced this morning that they have solidified their training staff for the upcoming season. With the departure of Steve “Hilty” Hildebrand to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League, the team will fill the void by moving to a two man system this season. Graham “Spike” Watt will remain the team’s Equipment Manager and Jerrit Senft of Regina will become the team’s Athletic Therapist.

Watt, moves into his second season with the Blue and Silver following a stint with the Swan Valley Stampeders of the MJHL. Senft will immediately join the team on Monday July 24th. Prior to his appointment Jerrit worked with Allied Health Centre in Regina. Jerrit also comes to the Blades with a wealth of sports therapy experience having worked with the Midget AAA Regina Pat Canadians and with various high schools in the Regina area. The Saskatoon Blades would like to welcome Jerrit and his wife Janelle to the Saskatoon Blades family.

Blades Head Coach and General Manager Lorne Molleken commented on today’s announcement “ We are very excited to round out our hockey staff for the for the upcoming season. With Jerrit and Spike we feel that we will be able to continue to provide our players with exceptional care throughout the hockey season.”
