Western Conference Schedule coming out in a week

The Western Hockey League's eastern teams have been able to finalize their schedules earlier then the teams in the west, which are forced to wait for Seattle and Portland, who share venues with NBA teams which have yet to finalize their schedules. Chilliwack’s final schedule will be out July 28.

Chilliwack Bruins training camp will be held at Prospera Centre beginning on August 23rd.

(Official schedule on the league site will likely come out a week later but individual Western Conference teams likely will have their schedules up earlier)

The Western Conference scheduling meeting is Thursday (July 27). The NBA has not released their schedule yet - this is what the WHL must wait for before they can call their schedule official. While the schedule will be done come Friday AM - Chilliwack's date for releasing their schedule - the league will wait until the NBA announces theirs.

In past year's there has been one or two changes after the NBA schedule comes out.

Apparently it has been pushed back a few days.

I have now seen three dates for the release of the WHL schedule - today (August 1st), tomorrow (August 2nd), and Friday (August 4th). The NBA will release their schedule at 2 PM EDT today so maybe tomorrow????
