Kelowna, BC - The Kelowna Rockets Hockey Club is pleased to announce the commitment of prospect goalie TORRIE JUNG. Jung comes to the Rockets after having played for the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the British Columbia Hockey League.

The 17‑year‑old, Nanaimo, BC native compiled an impressive 90.11% save percentage average in 18 games played last season.

“We are very excited about Torrie joining our club. With Kris Westblom and now Torrie, we feel we have a very strong one-two punch combination in our goaltending situation,” commented Rockets President and General Manager, Bruce Hamilton.

“We can appreciate the many offers and other opportunities Torrie was offered but are very excited that he chose to become a member of the Rockets. The quality of this young man as a player and a person is the main reason that we were so anxious to get him committed,” continued Hamilton .
