These are supposed to be the Sabre's new jerseys and logos.

Well, the Buffalo Sabres wanted to go back to the original blue and yellow. I think these new jerseys look terrible though. After Sabres fans started a petition to get rid of these monstrosities the Sabre's manegment decided to use the original jerseys for 15 home games. That should be nice.

That is jersey circulating around the net. I like the jerseys and the colour scheme, but that logo is nasty ugly.

i prefer the celsius ones, the other ones do look like arena football jerseys (which is probably why they'd sell in the States) - the old school throwbacks with a bit of a tweak are the way to go imo

The "Buffalo" could have looked better. And get rid of that "B". The Sabre is OK, but not that stylized "B".

more and more its looking like a hamster with horns - and the excessive swirly details on the jersey itself is not hockey --- imo

Looks far to close to the Sandiego Chargers uni's for me. Football is one of America's games, and to make it in the market they must be willing to insult hockey fans by confusing the mainstream that don't know the game and history. Most of the logos anymore have become far to cartoonish, and most 'third jerseys' are simply butt ugly.

Getting sick of teams constantly changing their Jersies.

Maybe they should think about the success teams like Montreal, Toronto, the Chicago Bears etc have had with their jersies and stop changing them every 5-10 years.

There was nothing wrong with the old jerseys, other than the fact that Sabre fan base was demanding that they go back to the old colour scheme.
IMO the blue and gold is nicer and more distinct anyhow.
If they go to an updated jersey of the ones they had in the early 90's i will purchase my Briere jersey.

Yeah, that new logo is pretty sad. Looks like some deformed buffalo or, as I have seen posted over the net, a slug. :laugh:

The B with the Sabre wouldn't be too bad if that was their primary, unfortunately that isn't the case. I really don't see the point with tradition and all that, especially in Buffalo. The franchise isn't that prestigious, and the black/red jerseys were better than any of the blue/gold ones (new or old) IMO.

I agree 100%. The Original 6 teams have all but stuck to their guns (except for their awful 3rd jersey's, especially Boston and their Pooh Bear Jersey). The Packers and Steelers in the NFL have hardly changed a thing with their jersey/logo and they are still going strong.

I don't mind the odd colour change/tweak but going crazy like that is just dumb. Even the black/red/white logo with the new colors would have looked better.

I think the jersey is okay but that Donald Trump toupee with horns is too much.
