Sorry for the down time guys. We had a major data base crash. It took me all afternoon and evening yesterday to get the diagnoses done and then still couldnt figure out the cure. Sometime after I gave up for the night Billy Blade jumped in and saved the day once again! Thank you Billy Blade for doing the voodoo that you do.
Theres a moral lesson here kiddies...... Dont ever make fun of the computer geeks. You never know when your site will crash and you will be begging them for help....lol

Thanks guys, its good to know that someone out there knows how to fix these things.

I was begining to wonder if someone wasnt playing a bit of a joke and banned me yesterday for the day... Its nice to know that no one out there would do such a mean thing to pretty little me. lol :skeptical

It was grueling dealing with the "exceeded bandwidth" message, and I am elated that the website is back on track! :thumb:

What brought the crash on? To many people logging in at one time?

Glad we're back and running, it was weird last night being on the internet and not being able to go to whlfans. I guess you could say I missed it.

We had exceeded our monthly bandwidth of 10GB in 21 days. To put it in perspective of how popular our site is recently, Last year during the trade deadline month of January we only used 8.3 for the whole month. We now have bumped it up enough we shouldnt have this problem anymore. If we do, we will bump it up again. We get a hell of alot more lurkers then most people realize we do. If everyone who looked at our site joined I bet we would have close to 10,000 members.

crazy... amazing how many fans use this site as a major source of info and connection. i was also amazed as how disconcerting it was to look at that exceeded bandwidth message.

thanks for the update HAF

Is anyone else having problems with this site being extremely slow in loading... almost to the extent that you think it's frozen, but it's not?? It seems to have trouble loading the "coffee ad" and the "game box".... This is the only place I have trouble and even then its sometimes not always.
