Pats Sign Pair of Prospects

Regina Saskatchewan: Regina Pats General Manager Brent Parker is pleased to announce that the team has signed prospects Brett Miller and Jeff Bosch to WHL Agreements. Miller was the Pats first round selection (14th Overall) in the 2006 Bantam Draft and spent this past season with the North Battleford Barons where he had 16 goals, 22 assists and 42 penalty minutes in 19 regular season games. Jeff Bosch spent this past year with the Saskatoon Blazers of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League where he posted a 2.72 goals against average in 22 games. Bosch was the Pats 3rd round selection in the 2005 Bantam Draft.

“we are very excited that a couple of good Saskatchewan kids like Jeff and Brett have committed to our program. Our focus has been on character people and on this province and we are seeing this pay huge dividends with the depth that we are building” commented Pats General Manager Brent Parker.


In Other Pats News:


• The Pats have received the IIHF Release for Finnish Import Niko Snellman. The 6’1 190lb winger was the 41st overall selection in the CHL Import Draft, and was the Nashville Predators 4th Round selection in the NHL Entry Draft this past June. Snellman will arrive in Regina this Saturday from Tampere Finland.

• The 9th Annual Regina Pats / Wickenheiser Golf Classic goes this Thursday at Deer Valley. The Anuual event features numerous Alumni as well as current Pats players participating with local business partners. This year’s event is SOLD OUT!

• 2006 Training Camp is only13 Days away. On ice sessions will begin with the Rookie Camp on August 30 and run through to September 6th when the Pats hold the Annual Blue/White game. The Pats first exhibition action is in Saskatoon as the Pats will take part in the Saskatoon Ice Breaker Tournament September 8-10 at Credit Union Centre. The Pats first Home Exhibition game will be September 13th at the Brandt Centre. All ice sessions are open to the public, and all session up to and including the Blue / White Game will be held at the Lumsden Arena.

• Season Ticket Holders are reminded that Season Tickets will be available for pick-up on September 1st at the Pats office in Brandt Centre at Ipsco Place. All Customers must have valid ID or the receipt of purchase for pick-up
