PRINCE GEORGE, BC- The Prince George Cougars have acquired 20 year old centre Brett Robertson and a 2007 4th round Bantam selection from the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for Tyler Swystun.

Robertson, a 6’0”, 186 lbs. product of Strathmore, AB, suited up in 66 games with the Tigers last season, recording 22 goals, 25 assists, 47 points, 76 PIM, and a +4 rating.

Not really sure why Dallas added another 20yo. Might be an insurance policy for the possibility of Hunter not returning. Right now we seem to be sitting with Hunter, Walker, Bowles, Cooper, and now Robertson as 20's in camp. McMullen didn't report, resigned to play BCHL, Orr wasn't going to be back, and Wikner stayed in europe.

He seemed to really hit his stride at the end of last season. I would expect him to put up near a point per game, if he doesnt get off to a slow start.

Earlier on in his career, he had a tendency to have stone hands right around the net,but he has since seemed to get over that. Robertson is a fast player, who can work on the powerplay
